Dr. B.R. Walker is a Professor in the Vascular Physiology Group at the University of New Mexico. Living Systems Instrumentation vessel chambers were utilized in a recent research article titled “Antioxidant and Vasodilatory Effects of Heme Oxygenase on Mesenteric Vasoreactivity Following Chronic Hypoxia” that was published in the February 2009 issue of the journal Microcirculation. A figure of isolated blood vessels taken from that article was featured on the cover of the April 2009 and May 2009 issues of this journal.
